MANAGING DIRECTOR
David Murphy
David started his career in 1987 as a Site Engineer and developed his management skills working on complicated Construction Projects with Kier, Trafalgar House and J. F. Finnegan Ltd. He joined Fitzpatrick in 2001 and rose through the ranks to become Managing Director of the Building Division. He joined McLaren in 2010 and worked in various Senior positions resulting in him being appointed Group Managing Director. After 11 successful years David chose to look for a new challenge and joined the Hannafin Group to get involved in the overall business and launch Ventry Construction Ltd in July 2021.
With over 30 years’ experience at Senior level, David is adept at risk mitigation and consistent delivery. He firmly believes in relationship building, which bears testament that two of Ventry’s main clients having worked with David for 30 years. He keeps very close to the sharp end of the business by being fully involved in the tender and delivery process.
David believes his role as Managing Director, is to ensure we commit to what we say with our customers and supply chain partners and encourage new and young talent to join our fantastic industry.
Outside of work, David likes to spend time at home or away with his wife and family, you will also find him on one of the many racecourses here or in France indulging in his other passion, Horseracing.
